Marlon Lawrence aka Hit List born on the 29th day of January 1979, is a commanding force behind reggae lyrics. Like the name suggests, he is bent on shooting down war and violence with his voice at a time when the nation cries out for PEACE. One of his pleas "Stop 'D' Killing" which is produced by FOUTA Music Works New York and distributed by FOUTA Records also out of New York, and others such as "Peace and Love" are just a few that lift the peace banner higher for the world to see.

Speak of Hit List and the name Sheriff also comes to mind - a name which was branded on him 15 years ago by on of the islands veteran producers Colin Fatta. When he got his first oppurtunity to produce a song titled, "Run Di Place", Fatta felt Sheriff could produce a hit song at any time thus the name Hit List.
