Fouta Records is proud to introduce you to the roots reggae sensation, Mystique with lead singer Christopher Brown and the new single “Rejoicement song.”
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Christopher Brown is an active member of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. At the age of 15, he began singing publicly by participating in local musical concerts.
In School Christopher Brown took an active roll in singing and participated in the schools festivals top final competition. Christopher Brown later became a professional singer performing in several top spots in Jamaica.
First produced by High Time with the single “Leaving Rome” Christopher Browne’s intense involvement in the music scenes continue to flourish. Christopher Brown went on to record several singles but eventually took a hiatus off the recording scene for 4 years for religious reasons.
Jah Starr introduced Mystique to Carlton Lewis and Fouta Records in 1993 at which point they recorded “Marcus Dub” Distributed in England and The Netherlands. This cut has continued to play on some of the major radio station in Europe.
At present Mystique is in the United Kingston recording as well as promoting the latest single on FOUTA Music Works.
